  • Reading – 5 Minutes Daily

It’s time to start picking up a book and committing to 5 minutes of reading every day.

Remember your knowledge is going to play a huge role in your overall success in life and you have all this information at your fingertips. All you have to do is pick the books up and start with 5 minutes a day of reading.

If you find reading a challenge remember it’s just like anything, keep practicing and you will not only get better at it, but it will become a natural habit.

If you feel you read too slowly, don’t. You read at whatever speed you can read at and still take in and retain what you’re reading. In time it may be worth considering doing a speed reading course to increase you reading speed whilst maintaining a good level of comprehension. This just means you will be able to get more information in, in less time, and retain it.

It’s then up to you to turn this information into knowledge so you can apply it to the real world.

Something else to consider is reading books from all 8 areas of your life. Maybe make a list of books you would like to work through over the coming weeks, month or even year and move them into the 8 life areas.

It’s also really important to consider which times of the day you are reading and the types of books you read. You don’t want anything to mentally stimulating right before bed as this is not conducive for a good nights sleep.

Take note of the books we have been recommending each week in the weekly wrap up resources section. We have hand picked these books as real stand outs that we believe will help further increase your levels of success in a much shorter time frame that you might realise.

  • Visualization PM – 1 Minute

It’s time to continue building out your night-time routine. You have been working hard on your morning routine over the last 8 weeks so you will see as we progress further through the course the night-time routine will be expanding.

This week we would like you to add in 1 minute of visualization after your evening meditation before you go to bed.

Remember your night time routine has two major benefits:

1 – What you do right before you go to sleep can send your subconscious mind to work for you throughout the night and move you towards your goals much quicker than you could otherwise.

2 – Improves your sleep quality by clearing your mind of all the busy chatter, the ‘Monkey Mind’ that so many people get as soon as the lay down in bed. And getting a good nights sleep is integral to an overall improvement in your health, happiness, productivity and more energy for everything in life.
