  • The Power of Morning

Do not under estimate just how important your morning routine is as this shapes your entire day.

Remember the Law of Attraction states:

“You will attract into your life whatever you focus on. Whatever you give your energy and attention to will come back to you!”

    Think about these two scenarios:

    Scenario 1

You start your day with your alarm going off 15 minutes before you need to leave the house, you jump out of bed, stub your toe as your getting ready so this puts you in a bad mood, you skip breakfast and race out the door.

As your driving to work you get stuck in the rush hour traffic and you’re getting even more frustrated because your running late, hungry and still annoyed about stubbing your toe.

When you get to work you are in a negative frame of mind, spend the first hour of your day at work complaining about life, then you realise you should eat.

Before you know it the first two hours of the work day are wasted and your still in a bad mood.

This is where the law of attraction comes into play, you’re still in a negative frame of mind and you’ll continue to attract negative things into your life all day. Not to mention the wasted two hours in the morning that could of been productive time to work towards your goals.

    OR

    Scenario 2

You wake up early, get out of bed and sit down to meditate. You open your private journal and write down a few things you’re grateful for in life and then re-read your Ivy Lee Rule of 5 for what you need to get done today.

Jump in the shower and then grab some breakfast and leave the house with plenty of time to spare knowing what you’ve got on for the day.

You might get stuck in a little traffic but instead of getting angry and frustrated you use this time to plan out how you will approach your top 5 things for the day and end up having a relaxing and productive drive to work.

As soon as you get to the office you can hit the ground running, your in a positive frame of mind and get straight to work on your most important task on the Rule of 5.

Because your in a positive frame of mind you will attract more positive things into your life, other people will be more receptive of you and want to help you. Plus you are well into your rule of 5 hours before the other you in scenario 1 even thinks about it!

So again, how you start your morning shapes your entire day and ultimately leads to your level of success in life. Be one of the 5%, not the 95% who never really make it.
