Download the wheel of life and print it out. Rate yourself in all 8 areas of your life with where you are today. Mark on the scale from 0 – 10 in all 8 areas and join the dots to see how close you are to having a circle and how much balance you have in your life right now.
Take note of the areas you are both strongest and also where you are weakest so you know where to focus your efforts in the immediate future. Make sure you place the date in the top left hand corner as you should be filing this out every 90 days.
Set 1 goal to complete for the week and fill this out in the week 2 section of the Kaizen Success System Worksheet. At the end of the week make sure you mark if you completed the goal or not as this will add to your weekly progress and score. Remember if you hit 80% each week you are doing really well!
When considering your weekly goal try and look at your wheel of life and how you can bring more balance to your life in the short term. Keep the SMART goal setting in mind and apply the Ivy Lee Rule of 5 each day towards hitting your weekly goal. As the weeks go on you will be asked to set more than 1 weekly goal and be aiming to achieve them all.
