  • Create Your 4 Quarterly Review Files

It’s time to create your quarterly review files for the next 4 quarters. Last week you were given access to the full Kaizen Success System worksheets with the 90 day goals tab at the beginning. You were also given access to the action plan templates as asked to fill this out for each of your 90 day goals.

This quarterly review template is what you will use to analyse how you feel you went with achieving your goals and any lessons you learnt over the last 90 days.

To begin with make a copy of the template file and create a new quarterly review in each of the next 4 quarters so it’s ready for your analysis at the end of each quarter. Be sure to name them something like Q1 2017 Review, Q2 2017 Review etc.

When the time comes for you to come back to do the quarterly review make sure you fill in the Kaizen Quarter score in the top left hand corner. Remember all you need to do is look at your the last 90 day goals sheet that has the average of the last 13 weeks scores on it. Just fill that in here and hopefully you manage to hit the 80% or at least get close.

Next thing is select how many of the 13 weekly challenges you were able to complete successfully. Keep in mind if you hit 10 or more you are doing an exceptional job and you most definitely should be rewarding yourself in some way. Also complete your learnings from the weekly challenges which should be something you are documenting on a week by week basis. This is the place to summarise what the last 13 weekly challenges taught you.

Now the 90 day goals can just be copied across from your 90 day goal worksheet. In the drop down select whether or not you completed each of them and leave notes in the right hand column to elaborate on why you did not complete the goal. If you did succeed in achieving the goal then why you feel you did well and what lead to the completion of the goal. Lastly you could make notes on how you could have further improved and what each of the outcomes of the goals taught you.

Finally at the bottom of the quarterly review is a section for you to essentially journal about how you felt your overall performance has been in the last 90 days. Were you satisfied with what you accomplished, make any observations of what you feel went well and didn’t and any lessons you feel you learnt during this time.
